Eric Hardiman

Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Drums, Theory, Recording

Eric is the owner of dB Music and full time instructor; this school is his pride and joy. Beginning with learning a little guitar from his mom when he was only 7, Eric knew then that he was going to be a musician. Years of private instruction, attending Musicians Institute in Hollywood, and taking on a Bachelor of Music and Masters in Musicology at Dalhousie University have given Eric a lot of perspective on how to succeed and achieve your musical goals.

Eric has been performing and writing for years.  Most recently he can be found playing lead guitar and writing for Melanie Cameron.  Previously, Eric has written and played for John Morgan, his own band Agreement, and also arranged and performed Barber's Violin Concerto for electric guitar with the Dalhousie Orchestra.  Currently, Eric is working on his first solo album and prepping for a following duo acoustic/electric new age album.

Eric excels at being able to learn and adapt to many styles of music and playing situations. His wide ranging experiences, vast knowledge of various techniques, and ability to both read music and learn by ear allow Eric to make each student's lessons geared specifically for them.
