dB Music Centre came from Eric's desire to want to reach and do more musically. dB Music is meant to be a place where anyone can learn music, young and old, experienced or not, style does not matter, to us what matters is that we all try.
Teach In Harmony
Eric's goal with hiring instructors was to find people who wanted to teach but who also wanted to work with their students. Eric, Tracy, Sara, they all want to help students succeed and be part of their musical journey. We all want to work together.

All our teachers are music professionals, they teach, write, record and play; they've all achieved university and college music education; our teachers want to help you create your future.

About Eric
Eric grew up living and breathing music. By grade 4 his school teachers already knew he wanted to be a musician (well... an astronaut too but, ya know...), and all the way through he was graced with meeting other musicians, teachers, role models who helped him pursue music on a whole other level. He may have been notorious for missing a class or not getting work done, but it was always so he could provide opportunities for others to play and be involved in music, even if it meant he had to do twice as much work and 4x the hours to make it happen.
Today Eric still works this way, he wants his students and friends to be able to do at least as much as he was able to and more. Whether it's putting in the extra time to help students prepare for university or transcribing 50+ songs a week so they can all learn things they are passionate about, it's just how Eric works. Be sure, Eric didn't just start dB Music because he liked music, he did it because he lives it, opening his own school is just a part of bigger picture. Who knows what's next but be sure, Eric will always be creating something musical.
